It has just been announced that Bill Gaylord has been elevated to AIA’s College of Fellows.
A Principal and founding partner
of GGLO, Bill has built a career that promotes civic engagement through design
and community service. His personal mission has been to elevate the quality and
spirit of life by serving others, which he carries out by creating new
expressions of the civic value of architecture. Bill engages the community by
partnering with organizations and the public through the power of design, ideas
and innovative programs. He has fostered a culture of working across
disciplines to create hybrid public/private inclusive communities that elevate
the human experience. With Bill’s contributions to leadership, GGLO is
pioneering a new form of practice that expresses and connects to social values,
supporting and integrating art, culture and principled development
advocacy.

AIA Fellows are elected to this
position by the Jury of Fellows. The title is one of the highest honors that
AIA can bestow on its members and is awarded to architects who have made
significant contributions to the advancement of the profession.
